Seria s-a încheiat cu un mare succes, cea de-a doua parte a "Talismanele morţii" obţinând încasări de peste un miliard de dolari la nivel global. Aşadar, călătoria în lumea magiei a lui Harry Potter a luat sfârşit, întreaga serie fiind considerată cea mai de succes a tuturor timpurilor.
